Whitehat Virtual Technologies (Austin, TX), a leader of virtualization and GPU integration in Texas announces The Power of Graphics and Virtualization Roadshow. Whitehat joins NVIDIA, Citrix, and Dell for a virtualization conference in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston, Texas scheduled for the week of April 21-25. One of the world’s leading GPU virtualization experts, Thomas Poppelgaard, will speak at the combined event. The schedule is as follows:

  •     April 21st | Austin, TX
  •     April 22nd | San Antonio, TX
  •     April 23rd | Dallas, TX
  •     April 25th | Houston, TX

NVIDIA GRID hardware allows companies to utilize their PC workstations, Windows-based or Apple, as a computer terminal creating virtualized desktops and applications. NVIDIA GRID offloads graphics processing from the CPU to the GPU in a virtualized environment. The result is high-end graphics capabilities for individual or multiple users, each with multiple simultaneous applications. In a virtual environment utilizing NVIDIA GRID hardware, all users are tied in to a common company GPU, with no resultant compromise in the graphics speed or quality.

“Delivering acceptable performance for 3D and other heavy graphics applications has always been a challenge in a Citrix environment. After 5 years of joint development between NVIDIA and Citrix, and using the worldwide collaborative design effort for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner as the driving need, the NVIDA GRID vGPU solution resulted. Since Whitehat Virtual’s core competence is in Citrix application and virtual desktop delivery, it is a natural fit for our three companies to work together for customers that have these application challenges, and we are excited to be a part of it,” states Brad Truman- Vice President of Sales, Whitehat Virtual Technologies.

NVIDIA K1 and K2 Grid cards deliver the most-demanding graphics applications such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks without compromise, allowing up to 30 individual users to run high-end graphics applications simultaneously.

“Whitehat can incorporate NVIDIA K1 and K2 GRID cards into our customer solutions and deliver the most graphically demanding workloads,” contributing to a virtualization environment “that delivers an exceptional, measurable end-user experience. Ultimately, this really rounds out the levels and types of services around virtualization we are able to offer small businesses and enterprises alike,” explains Whitehat.

Worker productivity is positively correlated with speed performance. The NVIDIA solution ultimately leads to IT support cost savings, supporting virtual, as well as physical and mobile platforms. This frees employee’s time and provides greater worker flexibility, enabling end-users to use their own PC or Mac for high-end graphics in a virtual environment using NVIDIA GRID cards, accessing applications from the cloud or any other location. Security, manageability, and flexibility are enhanced, while also allowing Whitehat clients to access Citrix, Microsoft and VMware NVIDIA GRID-enabled software.

As a growing number of employees bring their own devices to the workplace, flexibility and mobility, along with a continuous high performance level for each individual user, are a necessity. With NVIDIA GRID graphics hardware, as many as 30 users can share a single GPU.
